Angelo Adamo is an Italian-Australian artist born in Adelaide and based in the United States.

Raised within an Italian family and shaped by the Australian landscape, his understanding of identity and belonging has continued to evolve through more than three decades of living away from home.

His creative life has crossed fashion, wellness and interior design. He worked as a model in Australia and the United States before moving into wellness and later studying interior design in Chicago. A subsequent career in New York developed his sensitivity to proportion, material, color, balance and the way people experience space.

Painting eventually became a way of bringing these different experiences together.

The Passage Series

The Passage Series marks the point at which memory, distance and personal history began to take physical form—less as representations of particular places than as reflections on what we carry with us and how experience changes us over time.
